As an award-winning company, Elevation Corporate Health has been witness to the evolution of the corporate health and wellness industry since 1986.
Our founding Partners, Sandy Meagher and Tom Kapp, began their journey in 1986 employed by a local hospital in the Baltimore-Washington corridor. At this time, our focus was connecting the hospital to organizations via occupational health programs, pre-employment screenings, job analysis and fit for work programs, as well as providing organizations with fitness center management, group exercise programs, and health fair coordination.
A milestone at the time, Sandy and Tom organized and led their team to execute and supervise the first award-winning risk-rated premium reduction program for a Maryland bank in 1988.
In 1994, Sandy and Tom decided to venture out and become business partners of what is now Elevation Corporate Health. Since that time, our focus has been unwavering. Elevation's number one goal is to improve the health of our clients/customers.
We do that by building our relationships one at a time, focusing on each client’s specific needs and goals.
Elevation serves both mid-size and large organizations in a variety of sectors: Private and Public industry, Hospital, Residential, Multi-tenant, Resort, and Government.
We serve domestically as well as internationally, leveraging our own Elevation technology to engage customers coast to coast and across the pond.

We created our charity program, #ElevateOurCommunity, to reward and encourage our employees to give back to their communities through volunteering and donation.
Our employees submit nominations for their charity and a winner is chosen from the nominations on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. The charity chosen as the winner receives a monetary donation.
The program provides our employees an opportunity to not only give back to their communities, but also provides awareness for all employees of the volunteer efforts and charitable passions of their contemporaries.

CEO - Chief Engagement Officer
Sandy has over 30 years of experience in the health and wellness industry and is a founding partner of Elevation Corporate Health. She holds a M.S. in Business Management with an emphasis in health care management. Sandy oversees all operations management of Elevation to include: finance, human resources, overall client and employee management, legal, and information systems. Above all, Sandy’s passion is serving her employees and her clients with the highest level of customer service. She believes in the true power of a positive culture, recognizing employees who do great things, and is passionate about being a forward-thinking leader in our industry.
CRO - Chief Relationship Officer
Tom has more than 30 years in the fitness and wellness industry, with the last 25 in the corporate market. He is a founding partner and holds a B.S. degree in Exercise Science and a M.S. in Health. Tom oversees the Business Development of Elevation. He also provides Facility Design, Equipment Procurement, and Client Relationship Management services. The most fulfilling part of Tom’s job is being able to work with a company to help it develop its vision, and working with them hand-in-hand to make that vision a reality.
SVP of Business Innovation
Angie is Senior Vice President of Business Development with over 15 years of experience working in corporate fitness and wellness. Angie’s strength is her well-rounded understanding of the industry. Angie has extensive experience in the design, management, and programming of corporate wellness programs. She holds a BS in Exercise Physiology from Ohio University and a Masters in Sport and Recreation Management from Kent State University. She also holds certifications in Life Coaching, Nutrition Consulting, Personal Training and Group Exercise. Angie works on our Business Development team and is actively involved in the customized start-up of new Elevation accounts. In addition, she also supports our current clients and provides them the latest innovative strategies to engage employee participation.
SVP of Finance and Strategy
Cheryl possesses over 20 years of experience in the field of finance. Her strength is her focus on our client relationship, financial management of Elevation accounts and the ongoing customer service for each of our relationships. Cheryl oversees all financial functions for Elevation. Her strong expertise in detailed problem-solving and business operations provides a strong foundation and contributes greatly to other Elevation teams to include collaboration with human resources, information technology, legal, and risk management. Cheryl graduated Magna Cum Laude from Notre Dame University of Maryland with her degree in Finance.
Director of Talent Management
Erin-Leigh Trageser has over 9 years of HR experience and has worked in various industries, from public accounting and financial services to senior living and healthcare. Erin-Leigh is originally from the Baltimore area and has a B.A. in Psychology from Hood College and a M. A. in Professional Counseling from Argosy University. With both degrees, work history, certifications, and her former life as a yoga and pilates instructor, Erin-Leigh is excited to bring of her knowledge and experience together to work with all the employees here at Elevation.
Director of Employee and Client Experience
Katelyn has over 5 years of experience in the corporate fitness industry. She is an executive of Business Development highly involved in Elevation’s western accounts. Katelyn is dedicated to the continued growth and enhancement of current relationships as well as building new ones. In addition to her role on the Business Development team, Katelyn also manages Elevation’s wellness portals to ensure each portal fits each client’s needs and that even our clients without on-site fitness centers benefit from the highest quality of service and programming.
Director of Education and Engagement
Sara holds a M.S. in Sports Studies from High Point University in North Carolina as well as a B.S. in Exercise Science with an emphasis on Fitness Program Management from Oregon State University. Sara has a passion for research in our industry. She holds a Strength and Conditioning Specialist Certification, ACE Group Fitness Instructor, Schwinn Cycling Instructor and is a USS Swim Coach. After living in Oregon, North Carolina, and California, she was delighted to return to her home state of Colorado when she joined the Elevation team in 2007.
Director of Technology Operations
Akua has worked in the Corporate Fitness Industry for 10 years holding a B.S. in Exercise Science from East Carolina University. Akua is ACSM Certified Personal Trainer, ACSM Credentialed Exercise is Medicine Professional, AFAA Certified Group Exercise Instructor, and AFAA Trained Yoga Instructor. Helping to develop and design Elevation’s wellness portals, she oversees project management and employee training for Elevation’s Technology. Akua’s passion lies in working with clients and employees to deliver high quality and unique technology to each client. Along with Technology, Akua oversees operations at the NOAA Fitness Center as the Account Manager.
Senior Regional Director of Business Innovation
Micaela Robinson, Senior Regional Director of Business Innovation, has been working in the fitness and wellness industry for over 10 years. Her career launched at Equinox which helped expand her knowledge as a personal trainer and understand the fitness business. After five years as a Tier 3 trainer with Equinox, Micaela accepted a position as the Program Manager for The Biggest Loser Fitness Resort in Malibu, CA. Micaela was a part of the team that opened the facility. She handled all aspects of the resort, including creating schedules, holding lectures, instructing classes, and meeting one-one-one guests to ensure that each person saw the results they wanted to achieve. Micaela studied at National Personal Trainers Institute to obtain her personal training certification. She also has wide variety of certifications ranging from NASM CPT, CES, Senior Population, ACE Group Fitness, Pre & Post Natal, Spin and so much more! Micaela is Elevation’s residential and senior population expert. She has assisted in the start-up of a large Active Aging community in Los Angeles and is currently working on expanding Elevation’s senior market. Micaela continues to change the way residential communities engage their residents and creates a sense of a healthy lifestyle in each community she works with.
Marketing & Media Manager
Jenny has been in the health and fitness industry for over 7 years. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Studies from the University of California, Los Angeles, she combines her passion for fitness and marketing into her role at Elevation Corporate Health. Jenny is a nationally certified NASM Personal Trainer, ACE Group Fitness Instructor, and Precision Nutrition Level 1 Coach. She started with Elevation as the Assistant Program Manager at The Resort in Playa Vista, CA. In just two years, she got promoted to be the Marketing & Media Manager for the company, overseeing all marketing needs as well as managing Elevation’s online programs. From managing all social media accounts and email campaigns to online product development and employee education, Jenny strives to spread the company’s mission to both employees and clients alike.
